Care & Cleaning (Step by Step)

After Each Wear (1 minute)

1. Wipe gently with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove skin oils and cosmetics.

2. Store separately in a soft pouch or lined box (never loose with harder gems/metals).

Occasional Clean (when needed)

1. Prepare a small bowl of lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap (e.g., baby shampoo). No ammonia, vinegar, bleach, or alcohol.

2. Dampen a soft cloth in the solution (do not soak the jewelry).

3. Wipe each pearl carefully; avoid tugging on the silk or chain.

4. Rinse by wiping with a second cloth dipped in clean water.

5. Lay flat on a towel to air-dry completely before storing or wearing.

Stringing & Settings

• Strands: restring on silk or high-quality thread with knots between pearls every 12–24 months (more often if worn frequently).

• Glued settings: avoid soaking; prolonged moisture can weaken adhesive.

Do & Don’t

• Do apply perfume, hairspray, and lotion before putting on pearls.

• Do wear them—natural humidity helps maintain luster.

• Don’t use ultrasonic/steam cleaners, abrasive cloths, or toothbrushes.

• Don’t store in airtight plastic or extreme heat/dryness.

• Don’t toss pearls into handbags or jewelry piles where they can scratch.
